Coffee Table Shopping Begins

Since I have purchased a low and lean mid century sofa...my coffee table now sucks.

So we went coffee table shopping recently at some of our favorite junk shops...didn't find "the one" but did see some amazing things:

Random Act Of Kindness

So I am sitting in my living room glued to the chair watching CNN report about these poor women that had been kidnapped and are now free and have all these emotions running through me when I get a text from my childhood bff:

I am the luckiest girl in the world and feel much better.

So today please preform some random act of kindness...it could change someone's day.

Bye Bye 90's...Hello 50's

We have been lugging around a massive overstuffed sofa for many years. You know the one...they are all over Craigslist and sadly still in some major furniture chains that will remain unnamed. 

So last week as I was cruising/stalking Craigslist, I find what I think is "the one"...the replacement!

It was posted that morning, price was amazing, so I knew I had to act fast.

I showed it to my husband and he liked it so I emailed and within the hour I was standing in a man's garage staring at it. I panicked because knowing how CL works, you have to pull the trigger because if you walk away, the next guy will be there soon.

I wrote the check and hoped I had made the right decision.

Now this has led to shopping for a new coffee table...it never ends.

Wondering What I Found?

Sorry it has taken so long to post flea market and art show pics but the ya ya mom had a laundry list of needs and wants this week, so guess what?...she has ruled my week.

First ... Flea Market

It was a great one. April is always stellar and this one did not disappoint.

This is on Craig's List right now for $450.00!

Guess Where I Have Been

ROSEMARY BEACH!!!!

The YaYa Mother and I met my sister and her family for a beautiful week at the beach.

We had only 1 day of rain so this happened:

Underwear Man paid us a visit...what else are you going to do at the beach when it's raining and you are 6?

Us adults kept our undies in place and did a little shopping.

I Popped A Tag

I realize it's just an IKEA chair but this bad boy was hanging out in the middle of the GW and  had a tag with $27.00 on it so I popped it.

I think Betty looks pretty sexy above it.

If You Are Moving To Connecticut, I Found You A House

My beautiful and uber talented sister is selling her home and I have to share pics of this house.

It was built in 1969 and sits on 2 acres overlooking a pond. Her decorating skills are like none other and this home showcases them so well.
